The Citadel Shopping Extravaganza is back! In coordination with LA County, the Citadel was able to modify their event this year so that they can continue to support many local charities, including our own Los Altos Entertainment Unit.
How can you help?
Get the word out! Buy a ticket! But 10 tickets! Make sure to select Los Altos Entertainment Unit as your preferred charity.
Instead of just one day, this year the event will take place from October 10th to November 8th. You can go any of those days or even on multiple days and use your extra discounts at the retailers. Tickets are just $25 this year, $10 less than last year. They will donate $20 back to the Los Altos Band Boosters to support all of our students. The Citadel will be following LA County guidelines on Covid safety, including masks, social distancing, and limiting number of people in stores.
You will have discounts to the restaurants in the Citadel this year, instead of a box lunch. You will receive a coupon book instead of a wrist band. For health reasons there will be no wine tasting event this year.
You must purchase tickets online through Eventbrite for a small service fee on top of the ticket cost by October 9th. Beginning October 10th, you must purchase tickets in person at the Customer Service desk at the Citadel for a price of $30. You can still designate the Los Altos Entertainment Unit for these purchases so that we will still receive the $20/ticket donation back to support our students.
