Please help your child sell cookie dough for this fundraiser so that we can continue to bring needed money into the program to pay for our ongoing monthly expenses. As we near the tournament, we will be spending thousands of dollars to make sure we have everything ready for our guests that day. We expect over 4000 students and audience members to be in attendance that day, so we will also need every student in the program and at least one other family member to work one shift at the tournament. We provide one meal from our concessions with a voucher for each shift worked. This is our most important fundraiser of the year, and we have the potential to raise more than $20,000 in just one day. Please do your part so that we can make the money needed to create a quality band and color guard program for your children.
As we move into the second 6 weeks of the semester, please do all that you can to help your child stay on track with their homework, projects, and studying for quizzes and exams. If they are falling behind, please reach out to the teacher to see what your child can do to meet the standards of the class. Please realize that students must make efforts in all classes to do their work, ask questions, and get help from their teachers to make sure that they are passing their classes and working toward graduation. As I frequently say to the students, “The rest of your life begins in freshman year!”
