We reached our goal of selling over 100 tickets with a total of 108 with 105 who checked in at the Citadel Shopping Extravaganza on Saturday. This allowed us to be one of 10-12 groups who qualify for the FREE bonus money. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to our alumni, former parents, and band supporters who purchased more than 25% of the total tickets sold. Without their help, we would not have reached our goals.
The Los Altos Band Boosters Board will meet on Tuesday to begin planning for the Los Altos Tournament on November 2nd. We need all families to help sell ads for our tournament program and also commit to working for one shift of the tournament to make sure that all operations run smoothly. We will be sending out information shortly on how you can help.
We begin our cookie dough fundraiser on Monday. Please make strong efforts to sell this fundraiser, as we need as many streams of income as we can generate at this point. The Board would like to remind parents that there are incentives for this fundraiser for the top sellers and for selling a minimum number of items. All of our top fall fundraisers will be awarded prizes by the Los Altos Band Boosters at our Winter Concert. Spring fundraising prizes will be awarded at the Band Banquet.
